True Reflection

She washes her hands and stares at the mirror

staring at the embodiment of her soul

she can feel her true self within

fingers on her skin

piercing eyes

as though the flesh knows
that she knows

can you watch yourself... stare at yourself?

have you felt like... two in one?

her soul knows this is just a temporary host
her eyes stare back
like it knows
that she knows
its not her

her soul knows
she can feel them around

her spirit knows
 shes aware of their presence

watching her

not being seen

but being felt

an intuition, as one might call it

does anyone else feel this way?

or is she the only one  in-between both realms?
