She values actions over words

words can only do so much 

so what do your actions showcase?

every special occasion flies by like normal days
and its meant to be seen as normal
or perhaps a test , test for what exactly?
a repeated test over and over?
I dont buy it.
you care so much what it says about her but
what does it say about you?

do you show care for her passions
do you follow up on her ideas? her needs for career and life?
are you too focused on yours?

do you show commitment to taking what is important to her
like its important to you

or is that just temporary , enough to look like you tried.
do you just do enough to get by
or do you really listen
do you really put in as much effort into her as she does into you?
or is your world too tense for that right now
or you tell yourself im focusing on me for us, for our future.
maybe you are not ready to face the facts that you care more about you
maybe you are not ready.

do you open up when you're down
or just enough as your duty demands
is she the first person you go to
or you search around

do you realize saying you care is not the same as showing you care

Do you care for her opinions

or do you just hear them and make up your own

what do your actions say?

 not what comes out from your mouth

your actions.

People cannot take the treatment they give others
but they do not realize it until they are given a taste
because everyone loves to play the victim
why cant she see it from my viewpoint?

i thought i show you that

you just sometimes have to protect yourself for once and not give 100% at one go
gradual efforts when deserving because otherwise they get too comfortable
you wont get the same energy back
you wont and you would be constantly disappointed
so set no expectations whatsoever
and take away that which was freely given till its appreciated properly
you deserve to protect your heart as well

 its the bitter pill they cant swallow
when  they can finally see your perspective
but by now you've chosen to stop putting yourself second
you've chosen to stop putting your needs aside because theirs seems greater to them
the least you can offer them is to not burden them with your shit
but  you've chosen to accept something more reciprocal.
