"Would you have sex if the doctors told you you have 24 hours to live?"

"Of course not"

" Why not?if you are already having it , what difference does the 24 hours make?, last sex ever."

"It's wrong if you are not married,  you are going to see God"

"But then if you are having sex now.. and lets say you weren't told you had 24 hours to live,your life can be taken at any moment the only difference is you didn't know so why have sex then?"

It appears that people do not end up really living how they would like to live 

if it were their last days,

what they feel they "should" be doing

 isn't how they apparently want to live at the moment.

They have the opportunities to change that.

They don't.

They believe the time for that will come.

What if it doesn't?

You are worried about your future

where life would take you

opportunities don't present themselves no matter your effort.

You are not worried about your future 

you have it all planned out

you know you would be a success

Prayer, hard work, there's no way it can go wrong.

you know the realities that it would be tough

yet it has not hit you that the time to act is approaching

you have given up caring.

well no.

you care but you also don't care

you're numb

imagine not being worried about your future

because maybe you don't have one.

Kids, husband, wife, good career

we talk about them all the time

but then that is not what He has planned for you

He wants you with Him soon.

You just don't know it yet.

you will never get to know how it turns out

you did not predict it but it has happened

you won't know what your kids look like

you don't get to walk down the aisle

you hadn't made an impact in the world.

you're gone.

a memory.

 Why bother at all?

Why fall in love if there are no marriages in heaven?

Why make connections with people
when connections are so fragile

They can be cut short at anytime

you become afraid to make friends 

because the more people you know

the more people that can also break your heart

it will also be more people you know that will eventually be gone
sooner or later.

You want to protect yourself.

you will never be able to

This earth was not made for your protection

This earth is cursed.

you can only plan for the journey

 but He chooses the final destination

You want a smooth journey

but you know that is not reality

you want to be given the strength to avoid obstacles

but you don't want a bulldozer that would  knock you off the path you worked so hard to create

Keep Praying

But do yourself a favour

Live like it is your last day

not in the way you want

in the way you should

 the way you truly feel you need

 the way you mentally wish you could be 

despite the weaknesses of the flesh

Kids, husband, wife, good career

Pray for it all.

But before you do

ASK

ask Him what he wants for you

and do it.

ask him what your future holds for you.

and don't just talk.

Listen.

Life may be Ephemeral

so is your time

make the most of it.

Yes the earth is cursed

but you are blessed.

Philippians 3:20

Whether your time on here is short or long

you don't belong here.

yes you may miss your family

but they are coming soon.

we will never understand the reasons for why He does what he does

it may appear like there is no logical reason.

but once your flesh is gone.

you experience new things.

He transcends time

it is irrelevant to him

he is timeless

no beginning and end

so everything can happen in a second and before you know it 

they are with you. 

our citizenship is in heaven. 

this is why we are called to spread the gospel
so more can just us home
 it will feel like no time has passed at all
so do not worry

you can make it and they will all join you.

don't worry about anything at all.

Its all in His hands.
