Men are like trees walking around

Jesus took the blind man by the hand and led him out of the village. Then, spitting on the man's eyes, he laid his hands on him and asked, "Can you see anything now?"The man looked around. "Yes," he said, "I see people, but I can't see them very clearly. They look like trees walking around."Once more Jesus put his hands on the man's eyes. Then his eyes were opened, his sight was restored, and he saw everything clearly

Mark 8:23-25

Why would Mark write that?

Saying that Jesus didn't do it properly the first time that he had to do it again.
some would say his view was blurry the first time
but everyone has their own interpretation
why trees?
why walking?
why those two together, anything could have been used

Perhaps it was to signify that.. we are all rooted in something, like trees could be friendships, family,God. Everyone is rooted. We just can't see it with our eyes.

 Man whose heart isn’t resting on God’s spirit
 hearts which are restless are like trees
 who are meant to be planted and resting in God’s presence (soil)
 but  instead they move around everywhere
 trying to get life from everything but God which is futile
its encouragement for us too
As  we have to rest our heart each day on God’s spirit
 out of which flows rivers of living water.
